Meet the Lady Tug “Edith Thornton” and see her PIC, HP, GT, and Pedigree on the SIatSH website and on FaceBook too.  She immediately provides SI with laboratories for all Wheelhouse, Deck, Engineroom, and Galley course available.  She’s being refitted to qualify as the Field for Fire Fighting Basic and Advanced exercises; She can hold our new Gravity Davit Lifeboat; She Qualifies for TOAR assessments, Sea Time, Pilot Passage; Edith houses eight Students/Apprentices, and she’s Charter operational too.
The T/V Edith Thornton is an extraordinary contribution to improving the Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS) and the Maritime Industry by the Thornton Family!
